Miatto & Seppi Law Firm: shipping and international trade law
We provide a complete custom-made legal service in our core sectors, combining excellent law skills
with a strong problem-solving and practical attitude
THE FIRM
EXPERIENCE
Over the years the Firm has developed a remarkable experience in litigation and arbitration (both as counsels for the defence and as arbitrators), as well as in dealing with extrajudicial disputes and drafting contracts.
We daily advise, assist and represent operators involved in the maritime industry, both domestic and foreigner, before Italian Courts at all levels, also offering “on the spot” support whether necessary or required.
ASSISTANCE
Giving a prompt assistance at all the major Italian ports, we work closely with our Clients to collect evidence, obtain security, including coordinating arrest or attachment proceedings, and consider jurisdictional and contractual options.
Although our core practice concerns shipping matters, we also daily advise Clients on general corporate, civil, regulatory and commercial issues which are related to that business.
MAIN ITALIAN PORTS
The Firm is located in Venice (Italy), at a short distance from Porto Marghera, in a strategic position that allows us to reach quickly all the main Italian ports: we are far away only 140 km both from Trieste, Monfalcone, and Ravenna Ports (1-hour drive ca.), and 350 km both from Genoa, La Spezia, Savona and Livorno Ports (3-hours drive ca.).
